# DeepColors: Dive Photo & Video

> DeepColors is an automatic underwater color correction app for photos and video on iPhone, iPad and Mac. It recovers the red light that water absorbs with depth the moment you open a clip, grades video with keyframes, preserves HDR, and exports .cube LUTs and 4K HDR / ProRes for desktop editors.

Made by divers, for divers. Built specifically for the way water absorbs colour by wavelength (red is essentially gone by ~5 m, orange by ~10 m, yellow by ~20 m), so results look natural rather than over-corrected. Free to download; a Premium subscription (via Apple's App Store) removes the watermark and unlocks LUT export and 4K HDR / ProRes export. No account; photos and videos are processed on your device, not uploaded to any server.

## What makes it different
- Automatic correction the moment you open a photo or clip — no button to press
- Keyframe video grading: move a slider to drop a keyframe at that frame (which is analyzed), then the grade interpolates across every frame in between
- HDR-preserving pipeline end to end
- Export .cube 3D LUTs that carry your grade into your edit — DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, Final Cut (closest match in DaVinci Resolve)
- 4K HDR (HEVC) and ProRes 422 / 4444 export
- Camera RAW support on macOS (including Sony .arw)
- Channel mixer (red, green, blue with green-to-red and blue-to-red), tone curve, clarity, dehaze, sharpen, white balance, exposure
